House Energy and Commerce Committee:

Mimi is honored to serve on the House Energy and Commerce Committee, which is among the oldest standing legislative committees in the U.S. House of Representatives. The Committee has jurisdiction over a wide range of issues including telecommunications, consumer protection, food and drug safety, public health research, environmental quality, energy policy, and interstate commerce. With a unified Republican government, Mimi is working to put our country back on the right path.  The Committee will play a critical role in reforming our healthcare system, keeping energy affordable, and growing our economy.

Many of her constituents work in industries that are directly affected by the Committee’s work, and as a member of the Committee, she will continue to serve as an effective advocate for them.  She serves on three subcommittees: the Subcommittee on Communications and Technology; the Subcommittee on Digital Commerce and Consumer Protection; and the Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations.

Congressional Caucus for Women’s Issues

Today, women in America still face serious obstacles in the workplace and academia. In the House, Mimi is working to address this by expanding opportunities, increasing flexibility, removing barriers, and empowering the next generation. She is humbled to serve as the Congressional Women’s Caucus Vice- Chair, a bipartisan group comprised of all of the women in the House. Her work with the caucus will ensure that girls and women across the country have equal access to the tools they need to pursue their American dream.
