Congresswoman Mimi Walters Invites Veterans from CA-45 to Share Their Stories
Irvine, CA – Rep. Mimi Walters (R-California) announced today that she will be collecting and sharing stories from local veterans about their time serving in our Nation’s armed forces, in honor of Veterans Day.
Said Rep. Walters, “Orange County is blessed to be home to some of the bravest men and women to ever wear our country’s uniform, and it is a true honor to represent many of them in Congress. As we remember the sacrifice of these American heroes this Veterans Day, it is important for us all to hear their stories and thank them for their service.
“Please join me in honoring our local veterans by helping me to share their photos and stories with the grateful residents of Orange County.”
If you have served in our armed forces or know someone who has, and you live in California’s 45th district, Congresswoman Walters invites you to share photos and stories from their time serving in our armed forces. These stories and photos will be shared on Rep. Walters’ official Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts through the month of December. The deadline for submission is December 1st.
Interested participants should send their stories and photos to CA45Vets@mail.house.gov or to the Congresswoman’s Irvine Office at 3333 Michelson Drive, Suite 230, Irvine, CA 92612. Congresswoman Walters requests that you do not mail original photos. Please include a short description of the branch, title and assignment for each photo submitted.
Additionally, please ensure you have permission to share photos and stories before submitting.
