Washington, D.C. – U.S. Representative Mimi Walters (CA-45) today announced that she will host a Cybersecurity & Identity Protection Town Hall at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center, on Thursday, March 24th. Rep. Walters invites 45th District residents to join her and a panel of industry and government experts to ask questions and learn how they can improve their online security and take steps to protect their personally identifiable information. Additionally, members of Rep. Walters’ staff will be available during the town hall to help anyone experiencing difficulties with a federal agency.
“During a time of unprecedented cyber threats and identity theft, it is vital that individuals are taking the necessary steps to protect their personal identities,” said Rep. Walters. “I look forward to having a panel of industry experts join me at this Town Hall so that we can educate and inform individuals on this important topic.”
