Rep. Walters To Host Campus Safety Workshop at UCI

Irvine, CA – Representative Mimi Walters (CA-45) today announced that she will host a Campus Safety Workshop at the University of California, Irvine on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 from 5:30 p.m.- 7:30 p.m. at the UCI Bren Events Center.  Rep. Walters will discuss campus safety and other issues facing college students.  Additionally, she will be joined by an expert who will teach self-defense tactics.  The event is free and open to all UCI students; food and light refreshments will be provided for all attendees.  Please RSVP to Greg Deleon at (949) 263-8703 or greg.deleon@mail.house.gov.
